Imagine! Fiber Arts was opened in spring 2024. 

We are fiber enthusiasts  who love luxury fiber and color and hand dye both superwash yarn amd non superwash yarn. 

We have professional backgrounds in design and color through our education and careers spanning over 43 years. But mostly we just love making pretty string.

We  have been knitting, crocheting, sewing, rug hooking, needlepointing and weaving as serious hobbyists for somewhere close to 55 years. 

We hope to Inspire Joy through our work and look forward to seeing the projects you make with our hand dyed yarn.

Imagine! Fiber Arts offers small batch hand dyed yarn specializing in both Superwash and Non Superwash yarns... and very soon Cellulose Yarn!

Vegan you say...well vegan yarn is on it's way. Stay tuned as it will be coming this spring and summer.

We hope you will consider some of our hand dyed yarn that is entirely made in the USA... from ranches and farms in Western USA to Fiber Mills in the South to our small dye studio in Michigan we have several yarn bases that are entirely USA made. Check out our yarn base list for more information.

Additionally, some of our yarn supply comes from  sheep farms in Peru and  other yarns come from farms in Australia, the UK(and is farm traceable wool)

All yarn is  Museling free. All Superwash yarns are Oeko-Tex100 certified. Oeko-Tex100 certification means that the textile products have undergone stringent tests for harmful substances and every component along its pathway is confirmed to be harmless for human health which includes the highest environmental standards.

We currently are offering ready to ship hand dyed yarn for sale in non-repeatable colorways and will be introducing repeatable colorways as quickly as possible. 

In the future we hope to add yarn that is dyed by the order with unlimited quantities and we look forward to having numerous repeatable colorways.

For now if you like a specific colorway and we do not have the quantity that you need please reach out and we will see if we can dye some for you as soon as possible.
