Yes and yes. We have eco-friendly Non Superwash Yarn as well as a new Vegan Yarns coming soon.

Ooohhh...great question. That's hard to pinpoint. Well have some super soft Cashmere yarns, Ultra FIne Superwash and Non Superwash Merino, Yak, Brushed Suri Alpaca and Silk yarns. And for some folks cotton seems to be the softest and most soothing yarn for their skin and we'll be adding a cotton line soon.

 For all Ready to Ship Yarn the photos supplied online are the exact photos of the yarn that we hand dyed. However colors may vary slightly due to individual computer/phone screens. We do our best to take photos as lifelike as possible. If the yarn colorway is dyed to order then the photos are images of the representative yarn skeins and may slightly differ from the sample yarns.

       Clearance Yarn (40% OFF regular price or more) are FINAL SALE and not subject to return.

2. Exchange Process:

To request an exchange:

1. Contact us through the CONTACT US form located on the Home Page of our website.

• Exchanges are for items of equal value.
• Any upgrades must be paid prior to shipment(replacement skeins of higher value)

2. Shipping:

• Customers are responsible for return shipping to our address for exchanges(this does not apply to IFA errors). Return shipping details (mailing address) will be provided upon approval of your exchange request.
• We cover shipping for your replacement exchange yarns.

3. Condition Requirements:

To be eligible for exchange, yarn must be:

• In original skein(not wound or caked)
• With all ties and tags intact
• In unused, salable condition

4. Timeframe:

Contact us within (7) days of delivery if there is an issue with your order for your exchange to be approved.

5. Yarn that has been altered, treated, or washed (including attempts to set dye)is not eligible for exchange.

6. All exchanges are subject to Imagine Fiber Arts approval . Returns sent without prior approval cannot be accepted.

If you are an online customer and not satisfied with your purchase please reach out within 7 days of receiving your order so that we can review the situation.

Clearance and Discontinued Yarn Skeins(including Fun Packs and Skein Packs) are final sale only due to their low discounted price.

To be eligible for return or exchange yarn must be:

1. unused

2. In original condition

3. With all Labels and ties intact

4. In resalable condition.

Once a return request is approved by IFA we will provide instructions for returning the yarn.

All purchases made at in person events such as yarn shows and expos are final sale unless a defect can be both identified and verified.  If you experience an issue, please contact us within 7 days of the purchase with your receipt, photos of the yarn issue, yarn details(including colorway, yarn base, a copy of your receipt and provide details about the issue at hand.

Refunds: Approved refunds or replacements apply only to the specific yarn determined to have an issue, not to an entire purchase.

Yes. Please reach out through the online website form or email listed above to contact us and we are happy to help. Any additional information that you can offer such as the pattern and designer name, base colorway you are looking to pair, yarn base that you would like to use is helpful and we will put together some photos for you. 

No. Not at this time. However if you want to meet in person please click on the Welcome and Events Tab at the top of the website to see our current schedule. We hope to see you real soon.

We currently ship yarn M-F. If you need yarn balled/caked and are paying for the service it can delay your shipment by a few days. If you are purchasing Ready to Ship Yarn we will ship within 2-3 business days. If you are purchasing Dyed to Order Yarn then the shipment will be sent as soon as we get the yarn dyed and prepared.  Please reach out to us directly at our email address or through the contact form if you believe your order is significantly delayed.

We regularly offer sales and promotions on different yarn bases, clearance items, or discontinued yarn bases. From time to time we also offer coupon codes to our current clients for additional percentage, dollars off or perhaps some free mini skeins as a bonus with purchase. Please sign up for our Blog, Emails and Newsletter to get additional Dollars Off, Friends and Family Discounts, and promo updates. Being in the know saves you money.

Yes. We do offer free shipping on purchases. Current free shipping promos appear at the top of the website info bars.

Once a package leaves our facility and is in the hands of the carrier Imagine Fiber Arts has no control over the package. We are happy to provide the tracking number to you. We can assist you in your filing a missing package claim or damage claim however we are not responsible for the damages or missing package. We may also choose on occasion to file the damaged or missing packages claim for you. For packages greater than $300 we may reach out prior to shipping and ask if you want to pay for additional insurance on your package or we may request additional funds to pay for signature services from carrier to ensure that you have actually received your package.

 We recommend all yarn should be hand washed and laid flat to dry. Superwash yarn is machine washable and dryable but our recommendation still remains to hand wash and dry.  All Non Superwash yarn should be washed by hand and laid flat to dry as well. Please use a wool wash made for wool yarns if possible.

** Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn:

Some color transfer may occur especially with highly saturated colors.

We recommend rinsing yarn in a light vinegar or citric acid solution prior to caking or balling if you are concerned about color transfer.

Variations in color are intentional and part of the design.

Color transfer due to normal handling and environmental factors is not considered a fault or flaw.
